Kadayawan is an immense thanksgiving festival in Davao City. Many tribes from different parts of Mindanao participate in this festival, making it a huge, highly colorful celebration.

Davao is an ancient melting pot of cultures; and in the Kadayawan Festival, all the tribes, from within the city and those from far reaches of Mindanao, converge to thank Nature for kadayawan, for all things good. Here you'd experience in a massive scale an old, archetypal feast that praises Nature for its bounty.

The Kadayawan Festival also chooses through a cultural pageant its beauty queen called Hiyas sa Kadayawan, with contestants representing the different tribes.
